Yoshinori Imai appointed President of ABU

published The ABU has named Yoshinori Imai as its new President. Imai is Executive Vice-President of Japanese broadcaster NHK, a post he was appointed to in January 2008.
He has spent over 30 years at NHK where he has held the post of Bureau Chief for the broadcaster's European operation and Director-General, International Planning & Broadcasting Department.
Born on December 3, 1944 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, Imia Graduated from Keiō University. He is married with three children.
