ZDF Taps Quartz for Soccer and Olympic Events

published German public network channel ZDF recently selected Quartz routers to cover the Euro2004 soccer championships in Portugal and the Summer Olympics in Athens. The Quartz Q256 routing system was used during the soccer event.
Configured as 256x256 for ZDF, the system includes Quartz CP-1000 intelligent control panels. These are based on LCD button technology, created by the Nevada City, Calif.-based company for router systems. They provide intelligent menus and automatic re-legending of buttons.
