Zimbo Television to acquire ENPS
Zimbo Television in Angola has become the first organization in the nation to adopt the Associated Press’ Electronic News Production System, the company said Tuesday.
Angola joins African nations Algeria, South Africa, Botswana and Egypt already using ENPS.
As part of the agreement, Zimbo Television has acquired 25 ENPS workstation licenses for its operation in Luanda. Installation is due to begin in mid-October, and the broadcaster plans to go live with the system Dec. 14. The broadcaster’s playout and production setup will rely on NewsMaker to manage the MOS interface with ENPS. Autoscript will supply prompting.
