The 119th Audio Engineering Society Convention (AES) takes place in New York next month and features an impressive line up of events.
Long-time AES Convention broadcast chair, David Bialik, has developed a series of classes and seminars. Panelists include Rocky Graham of Dolby Laboratories, Alan Kraemer of SRS, and Geir Skaaden of Neural Audio.
Two tutorials are also scheduled: Mixing A Live Broadcast In Surround and Designing A Broadcast Facility for 5.1 audio. Technical tours of New York's top audio facilities are also offered. The annual convention also features audio product exhibits and demonstrations. AES2005 takes place Oct. 7 - 10 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
