APT names new CTO, product manager

published Gregory Massey has returned to Belfast-based codec manufacturer Audio Processing Technology (APT), where he assumes the title of chief technical officer. Massey’s primary responsibilities will focus on new products and technologies.
APT also announced the appointment of Hartmut Foerster to the newly created position of product manager for the company’s WorldNet Oslo audio codec. The WorldNet Oslo has been developed specifically to address the needs of both broadcasters and service providers. The unit has several layers of redundancy and can transport audio over a variety of digital mediums.
