In response to numerous requests from broadcast and production professionals, Audio-Technica has made its AT892 MicroSet subminiature omnidirectional condenser headworn microphone available in a new cocoa color. Designed to improve the microphone’s ability to blend in seamlessly and unobtrusively, the new AT892c-CO adds a complementary mid-tone option to the other available colors of classic black and theater beige.
Utilizing a capsule with a 2.5mm diameter, the MicroSet offers an ergonomic, flexible, ultra-lightweight, under-ear design that is both comfortable to wear and highly secure. Its contoured earpiece stays in place even on the most animated performer and is designed to not interfere with the user’s eyeglasses. Sonically, the AT892 is designed for maximum intelligibility and clean, accurate reproduction. Available in a multitude of terminations to work with A-T and other manufacturers’ wireless systems, all MicroSet models include two windscreens, two element covers, a cable clip and a protective carrying case.
