Australian Monitor, Sennheiser cut North American ties
In a joint announcement, Sennheiser USA and Australian Monitor have ended their three-year distribution agreement in North America for Australian Monitor products. The announcement comes as Australian Monitor seeks to add more product categories in the U.S. and Latin American markets.
Chris Smith, Australian Monitor’s director of international sales, announced that, beginning Sept. 1, distribution in the United States would be handled by Starin Marketing, based in Chesterton, Indiana.
Australian Monitor is also interviewing to replace its distributor in Latin America, but no agreement has been finalized. Nine warehouses on four continents, delivering to more than 75 countries, serve the company’s robust global markets.
