Autocue to make U.S. Qnxt debut at NAB2007
By TVTechnology
published At the NAB Convention in April, Autocue will make the U.S. debut of Qnxt, an IP-based, networked prompting system.
The prompting application on the PC connects to the QBox, a hardware component, over a wired or wireless Ethernet link. This allows the QBox to be controlled locally, or remotely by the PC over an unlimited distance. In this way, QNxt moves the level of intelligence away from the central control system, and out to the prompter itself, unlocking benefits for the end user in the studio and in the field.
