Leader's 5861V waveform monitor enables rapid evaluation of composite video amplitude, time and frequency response.
Broad Telecom, a Spanish systems integrator, has completed commissioning of transmission monitoring systems at seven locations in Egypt.
The installations include 11 Leader 5851 PAL vectorscopes and 11 5861V waveform monitors, to be used by the Egyptian Radio & Television Union (ERTU), Egypt's state broadcaster. The equipment was purchased by Broad Telecom from elQuip BV, European master distributor for Leader Electronics.
Leader's 5861V waveform monitor enables rapid evaluation of composite video amplitude, time and frequency response. A line selector function is provided for observing signals carried in the vertical blanking interval. The instrument's 150mm rectangular CRT display has an integral illuminated graticule scale allowing zero-parallax readings.
