CBC implements Mediaproxy's Enigma logging
Canadian broadcaster CBC has implemented Mediaproxy's ENIGMA 5.1 broadcast logging and monitoring solution to replace their existing cassette-based logging infrastructure. Mediaproxy's Enigma 5.1 solution is now being used to monitor 15 broadcast channels throughout Eastern Canada. CEV, Mediaproxy's exclusive Canadian reseller, played the lead role in the negotiation, installation, and delivery of CBC's Montreal logging systems.
Mediaproxy's new ENIGMA 5.1 monitoring and logging solution is specifically designed to replace the labor-intensive use of VHS recorders within the broadcast industry. It provides a completely 'operator free' server based recording, covering a wide range of applications including compliance recording and logging with flexible browsing capabilities.
Incorporated into ENIGMA's 5.1 design is the option to include a number of industry specific monitoring/logging features that are configured to specific requirements. ENIGMA 5.1 is more relevant than other products in the marketplace because it offers confidence monitoring, sophisticated built-in alarms, as-run log integration, scheduled recording, configurable software modules, and sub-clip extraction from client desktop.
