David Bock, designer and co-founder of Soundelux Microphones, is acquiring the rights to the company. Scheduled to be finalized in early 2007, the acquisition includes the use of the Soundelux brand name, all of the microphone design and manufacturing rights, all microphone model numbers/designations and current inventory.
Bock is acknowledged as one of the few microphone specialists who really understands vintage sounds and how to achieve that performance through modern technology. His design ability has brought Soundelux microphones to prominence in the studio marketplace, a position he hopes to enhance with the firm under his direction.
Sales and customer service will continue being handled through Soundelux dealers and the U.S. sales management office, TransAudio Group.
