Digidesign recently released DigiDelivery 2.0. The system now includes a server-to-server relay.
If both the sender and recipient have DigiDelivery servers, server-to-server relay accelerates the delivery process by automatically transferring deliveries from the sender’s DigiDelivery server to the recipient’s. It frees up workstations for more creative tasks and extends the sender’s deadlines.
DigiDelivery 2.0 client software also enables users to create and manage multiple deliveries at once, add them to a queue, prioritize them, and even quit and re-launch. DigiDelivery picks up exactly where it left off. Users can name each delivery, add billing information, view a history of recent deliveries, and save login information for their frequently used accounts. It supports Windows XP, Windows 2000, Mac OS X, and Mac OS 9.
