EVS has been awarded the Golden Bridge award by the Belgian and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for the most successful Belgian or Luxembourg manufacturing or service company exporting to the United Kingdom. A jury of business leaders and ambassadors from all three participating nations selects the winner of the Golden Bridge.
Throughout the past 10 years, EVS has developed the British market, notably linked to the introduction of the HDTV. Today, EVS provides live and near live production solutions to broadcasters such as BBC, BSKYB and ITV, and across the outside broadcast and rental market. The British market today represents more than 12 percent of turnover (estimated $13.3 million for the UK in 2006), and covers more than 300 production and playout servers.
