FCC denies complaints alleging “Monday Night Football” indecency

published The FCC denied complaints alleging that ABC affiliates aired indecent material Nov. 15 during an introduction to the network’s “Monday Night Football” telecast.
The commission issued a Memorandum Opinion and Order March 14 concluding that a segment in which “Desperate Housewives” actress Nicollette Sheridan dropped a towel she was wearing revealing her back to the camera and herself to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens was not “sufficiently explicit or graphic” enough to be indecent.
