FCC seeks engineering grads for training program
The FCC is looking for recent engineering school graduates for its 2006-07 Engineer-in-Training (EIT) program.
Applicants should have a superior academic track record and have an interest in communications engineering and IP networks. Those selected for the program will receive comprehensive training in the field of communications.
The commission will open three application windows:
- Aug. 7-28, 2006;
- Oct. 1-22, 2006;
- March 30-April 21, 2007.
All EIT participants will receive training in Washington, D.C. Engineers hired
as part of the EIT program will fill positions located at the FCC’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.; its Gettysburg, PA, facility or one of the existing FCC field offices located throughout the United States.
