French broadcaster M6 has begun broadcasting in Dolby Digital 5.1.
Surround sound programming using Dolby Digital 5.1 will be available on both the new digital terrestrial television (DTT) network, as well as on the TPS network satellite service.
M6, which airs a mix of films, music and drama series throughout the country, launched this service with the five existing Star Wars movies.
