Grace Designs at Lincoln Center

As an integral part of New York City’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Jazz at Lincoln Center is renown for its role in supporting and promoting jazz in the United States and internationally. Its new home within the recently completed Frederick P. Rose Hall on Broadway has been acoustically designed specifically for jazz, and features a state-of-the-art recording and broadcasting studio.

The studio’s chief engineer Rob Macomber recently chose Grace Designs’ new m802 eight-channel mic preamp for use in performance and broadcast applications. The m802 can be controlled directly from within ProToolsHD, and Macomber is reported to be controlling 72 channels of m802 preamps, located at the stage, via a Digidesign D-Command control surface, mixing live to ProToolsHD.
