The 2005 International Broadcasters Convention (IBC) takes place Sept. 9-13 in Amsterdam.
The annual show features exhibits from more than 1000 broadcasting, video and audio equipment companies. More than 40,000 attendees from 120 countries are expected to take in audio product demos, educational workshops and A/V technology discussions. The 11-hall exhibition (similar to the yearly NAB convention in Las Vegas) has taken place in Amsterdam since 1992.
Broadcasting related organizational meetings will also take place during the convention. The DVB Pavilion will feature products from The Digital Video Broadcasting Project (DVB), an industry-led consortium of more than 270 broadcasters, manufacturers, network operators, software developers and regulatory bodies.
