NSCA Education Foundation reaches fundraising goal

The NSCA Education Foundation has announced that the commercial electronic systems industry has raised $150,000 in support of industry education. More than 200 industry individuals and companies exceeded the Industry Education Challenge by contributing more than $100,000, triggering matching grants of $25,000 each from Atlas Sound and Shure.

Gifts made to the Industry Education Challenge will be put toward the foundation’s 2007-2008 budget to reach out to students, fund student scholarships and memberships, develop curricula and fund education for industry professionals. The deadline for student scholarship applications is June 15, 2007.
