ONDA Communication brings out new DVB-H phone
Italian mobile phone manufacturer ONDA Communication recently unveiled the N7100, a 3G DVB-H phone, co-developed with ZTE, one of China's largest telecommunications manufacturers. The launch of the phone has made ZTE one of the first Chinese mobile phone manufacturers to commercialize mobile television.
N7100, the first phone to roll out of ONDA's BRIONVEGA line of handsets, is based on a multistandard receiver chip developed by Siana Mobile Silicon and features a 320 x 240-pixel, 262K color screen, a rotating 2 mega-pixel camera with a built-in flash light and a 3.6Mb/s HSDPA modem. Based on Siano's SMS1000 chipset, the phone supports DVB-H, DVB-T, DAB, DAT-IP and T-DMB mobile digital standards.
