Orange taps France Télévisions for latest mobile TV programming deal
France Télévisions this month inked a deal with French telco Orange that will allow the latter’s subscribers to view France Télévisions Group programming from their mobile phones and PCs.
The deal adds new programming to Orange’s “rewind TV” service, which provides free on-demand access to programming from various French broadcasters. Viewers will be able to access content from the France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 and France Ô television channels, either on their regular TV sets, their PCs or their mobile phones. Talk shows and entertainment programs will be available for seven days from the first broadcast, while soaps, series and documentaries can be accessed seven to 30 days after their premieres.
Orange will begin offering France Télévisions programming at the end of the year.
