Pacific Soundwaves expands into Burbank
Pacific Soundwaves Studio A.
California-based Pacific Soundwaves has expanded beyond its Santa Monica and Studio City locations with the opening of a new studio in Burbank. The 11,000sq ft facility is located on Burbank’s studio row in the former home of the historic Enterprise recording studios.
The Burbank location features three television mix stages, a feature film mix stage, several ADR suites and Foley stage, as well as other services. Studio A is a Dolby-certified dubbing stage equipped with two Digidesign ICON D-Command consoles, while three additional studios feature both ProTools Accel HD and Fairlight MXF3+ digital workstations. The TV mix rooms also offer Mackie D8b mixing consoles with full automation. The rooms are equipped for monitoring in formats ranging from mono to 5.1 surround, with a selection of multiple monitor speakers.
With a client list that includes Disney, FOX, Discovery, Bravo, HBO, MTV, CBS, NBC, ABC and Paramount, as well as numerous production companies and advertising agencies, Pacific Soundwaves’ nine-year history includes a wide range of commercial productions, feature films, television productions, trailers and special projects.
