CNW Group is now digitally delivering broadcast material via Pathfire's Digital Media Gateway (DMG). CNW recently announced the agreement with Pathfire for the digital distribution of their content to Pathfire's network of broadcast stations.
The CNW Group, based in Toronto, produces and distributes broadcast footage and B-roll packages to stations across Canada and the United States.
The DMG is an automated IP multicast distribution platform that distributes and manages content to more than 1300 broadcast stations in the U.S. and Canada. Content automatically arrives on newsroom desktops.
By using the DMG, CNW provides news editors and producers with direct access to Canadian-produced content for quick integration into their local newscasts via the existing Pathfire delivery system. DMG enables news editors and producers to easily search, preview and select content, directly from their desktops.
