Rogovin leaves FCC office of general counsel

published Commission Chairman Michael Powell announced Jan. 13 that FCC General Counsel John Rogovin is leaving the agency.
Rogovin was appointed General Counsel in February 2003. Prior to that, he worked as FCC Deputy General Counsel. Before joining the FCC, he was a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of O'Melveny & Myers LLP.
Austin Schlick will serve as Acting General Counsel, Powell said. Schlick most recently held the position of Deputy General Counsel responsible for the agency’s litigation.
