RTNDA to hold one-day news, technology summit

published The Radio-Television News Directors Association will hold its News and Technology Summit Oct. 25 in conjunction with the National Association of Broadcasters’ NAB New York Content Creation + Show.
The seminar is open to radio, television and online news managers and journalists. It will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
Sessions include:
- Preparing For HD Conversion – Deadline: 2009, offering a focus on technical and financial challenges, budgeting and storytelling in a 16:9 world.
- Thriving in an On-Demand News World, presenting a look at what networks and local stations are doing to build a successful broadband strategy.
- Making the Web Work: Lessons from the LostRemote.com Guys.
- Citizen Journalism: Embracing the New Power of Your Audience, exploring how to embrace citizen journalism and integrate their perspective into newscasts and Web sites.
