Sachs leaves NCTA post, McSlarrow assumes association leadership role

published Robert Sachs, who has led the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) as president and CEO for five and half years, announced his resignation March 1. He will rejoin Continental Consulting Group as a principal of the Boston-based cable industry strategic consulting firm that he co-founded in 1998.
Kyle McSlarrow, former Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, succeeds Sachs as NCTA president and CEO.
