As part of an aggressive expansion program, Scripps Networks has promoted company veterans John Ajamie, Mike Donovan and Tim Harty.
The company promoted Ajamie from vice president of broadcast operations to senior vice president of broadcast operations and maintenance engineering. With Ajamie’s promotion to senior vice president, the company’s maintenance and engineering activities will align with the operations division under his supervision.
Donovan, who joined the company in 1994, assumes the role of senior vice president of engineering and satellite distribution technologies. He will remain a lead technology steward within the operations division, while managing the company’s transmission/satellite operations, and assisting Affiliate Sales with distribution-related technical matters.
Harty has been promoted to an engineering directorship after six years with the company.
