A special pre-AES convention event will focus on surround sound technology in New York City. The Surround Live III Symposium focuses on broadcasting, sports, live productions and environmental 5.1 audio.
Showing the latest surround sound innovations and applications “Surround Live III - Totally Surrounded” _will take place Thursday, Oct. 6th from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The symposium will take place at the Grand Ballroom in Manhattan Center Studios, 311 W.34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. The symposium features a panel of experts in all aspects of surround sound and state of the art 5.1 equipment. In addition to a panel of experts in the field, a full 5.1 channel large-scale demo sound system will be featured, along with a Digico audio mixing console, electronic reverb technology from Lexicon, and Shure wireless microphones.
