More Spanish DTT broadcasters have joined the existing vsn installed base of news production and master control systems. Canal 7 and 8Madrid, both located in Madrid, purchased a vsnnews system for live program production. Local channels owned by Aierta Group in Almeria, Malaga and Murcia are also using vsn systems for program broadcast and production.
Other recent projects are the enlargement of the newsroom of RTVA Andorra with the vsnwires module and the recent contract for the complete system of Canal Blau, located in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona), that comprises the new automation playout system vsnmaster, four programmed ingest channels, a newsroom with 14 journalist stations equipped with editing, plus integrated graphics and prompter. Content will be managed by the vsnarchive Media Asset Management (MAM) system, which simultaneously controls an automated LTO tape library.
