Symetrix upgrades SymNet CobraLink
Symetrix announced that it is now shipping all SymNet CobraLink units with fully loaded CobraNet channel counts. All units will include the full 32 x 32 channel audio capacity of CobraNet. This eliminates prior needs for post-sale upgrades while providing greater flexibility and an instant cost savings, signaling a strong commitment to the CobraNet protocol by Symetrix.
Symetrix notes that as digital audio networks continue to expand, higher channel counts will be increasingly necessary. The popular CobraLink unit, now fully loaded with its maximum CobraNet channel count, serves to bridge SymNet SymLink hardware to any industry-standard CobraNet audio network. It also provides a means to network SymNet Express Cobra units with SymLink hardware, facilitating both distributed and centralized DSP system design models.
