Tascam unveils new tools
Tascam’s new mixer and CD player are made exclusively for broadcasters.
The DM-3200 from Tascam is a new 48-channel professional 96kHz/24-bit digital audio console with 6.1 surround panning, full LED indicators and an optional IF-SM/DM surround monitoring interface card that adds multichannel monitor and downmix capabilities.
USB connectivity is standard with IEEE 1394 — an option for working with computer digital audio workstations (DAW).
Tascam’s CD-601mkII CD player features an optional remote control. Users can search using the jog wheel, index searches or flash starts. In addition, the CD-601mkII can save up to 10 cue points per CD. It also features pitch control, auto cue with five threshold levels, auto read and CD text.
