OEN FISION service to carry Fox Cable Networks
IPTV and broadband services provider Optical Entertainment Network (OEN) has signed an IPTV carriage agreement with Fox Cable Networks to provide all of its content to OEN FISION subscribers.
Through this affiliate agreement, OEN's FISION will offer its subscribers FX, Fox Movie Channel, National Geographic Channel, Fox Reality, FUEL TV, Fox Soccer Channel, SPEED, Fox Sports en Español, Fox College Sports and regional sports network FSN Southwest.

Comtech Group wins $5 million in orders
Comtech Group has secured a series of contracts valued collectively at more than $5 million from an undisclosed IPTV set-top box vendor based in China.
The company will begin to deliver products and services associated with these contracts this month with shipments continuing through the third calendar quarter of 2006. The contracts are Comtech’s largest purchase order to date from a single customer.
Scopus ships Dense Edge Decoder
Digital video networking product provider Scopus Video Networks has received a significant initial order for its UID-2912 Dense Edge Decoder from an undisclosed U.S. multiservice operator.
The UID-2912 deployment follows the recent announcement that the Scopus IVG-7500 Intelligent Video Splicer will provide digital ad insertion for another operator.

Atlas, an operating unit of aQuantive, and TANDBERG Television have agreed to integrate and market their respective on-demand advertising campaign management solutions.
The combination of Atlas On Demand's automated campaign management, ad decision logic, optimization and reporting tools for media buyers with the TANDBERG AdPoint On Demand Advertising Platform for managing dynamic ad placement for media sellers, operators and programmers will enable advertising agencies to plan, buy, execute, optimize and measure video-on-demand campaigns. In addition, it will allow cable operators and network programmers to manage dynamic ad placement and achieve greater revenue opportunities.

NS8, Advanced Datanetwork Communications strike deal on VOD for IPTV
NS8 digital media division iWave Interactive Systems has entered into a multi-year nonexclusive video on demand content distribution agreement with Advanced Datanetwork Communications of Thailand.
The distribution agreement lets iWave distribute its library of films, music, concerts, documentaries, sports, HD and specialty programming over ADC's current IPTV services, Buddy Broadband, the first to offer consumers in Thailand IPTV and VOD services last year.
