Scopus to Focus on MPEG-4 at NAB2007
(click thumbnail)Scopus UE 9000At NAB2007, Scopus Video Networks will launch the UE-9810, its newest HD encoding platform designed to offer a smooth migration path from MPEG-2 to the MPEG-4-based H.264 compression standard.
Part of the UE-9000 encoder series, the UE-9810 features ASI and IP outputs as well as integrated, advanced multiplexing capabilities. The 1 RU chassis is suitable for broadcast, satellite, cable and IP contribution applications. The encoder is also available in a DSNG version.
Scopus will also demonstrate its UE-9410 second generation H.264 encoding platform, featuring improved compression capabilities and enhanced picture quality, as well as DVB-S/S2 and IP transmission schemes.
