Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), Germany's largest broadcaster covering an area with about 18 million people, is upgrading six major cities in its existing Net Insight Nimbra network to offer new, expanded media services.
Net Insight’s next generation switch will also facilitate the transport of mission-critical TV contribution and distribution streams, bursty IP traffic and telephony with full Quality of Service (QoS).
