Howell will receive the Golden Mike Award at the March 14, 2022 fundraising gala, which is returning as an in person event

The donations on November 30, the international day of giving, will help colleagues in acute need

This year’s plea for donations follows several cancelled fundraising events due to the COVID 19 pandemic that has also forced more broadcasters than ever to reach out for help
